Is Winter Coming? Keynote by Rebeca Grynspan, Secretary General, UNCTAD – Think7 Summit

Following the lengthy COVID-19 crisis, the global economy was expected to gradually recover in 2022 and 2023. Now, however, Putin’s war against Ukraine stands to exacerbate inflationary stress and thus hamper global growth. The United Nations Global Crisis Response Group fears this war will trigger a three-dimensional crisis on food security, energy supply, and finance. The topical keynote by UNCTAD Secretary-General Rebeca Grynspan will be followed by a Q&A session on the opportunities for high-level international cooperation and how developing countries can be better supported in these crises.
