Silke Weinlich is senior researcher at the German Development Institute / Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungspolitik (DIE). She is member of the research programme on inter – and transnational cooperation where she leads a research and policy advice project on the UN development system and its reform needs. She holds a doctorate in political science from Bremen University. Over the last fifteen years, Silke has followed United Nations reform processes in various policy fields ranging from peace keeping and peacebuilding to sustainable development. Current research interests include the repositioning of UN development system, the financing of multilateral development cooperation, and global governance reform questions.
