Prof Dr Clara Brandi is Head of Department “Transformation of Economic and Social Systems” at the German Institute of Development and Sustainability (IDOS). Clara Brandi studied economics at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität, Freiburg, where her Master thesis won the Friedrich-August-von-Hayek-Award. As Michael-Wills-Scholar, she completed the MPhil in Politics at the University of Oxford. She received her PhD from the European University Institute, Florence. Her main research interests include global governance, international trade policy and trade agreements and interlinkages between trade, sustainable development and climate change, including in the context of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
